HSCL Blog
It's been a busy few months in school:
We have enjoyed our New Families and Welcome Back Coffee Morning, with Lucy Conroy and the LOETB cookery demonstration. Tamara joined us that day to chat about courses she can offer in Literacy and Numeracy.
We have started a Storysack workshop with Leah from the LOETB. We are making a Storysack based on The Scarecrows Wedding by Juila Donaldson. Thanks to our talented and gifted parent community.
We had our Annual Pumpkin Carving Event with Cassia from Laois Sports Partnership, this was great fun and a hugh success.
Our HSCL coordinator Sheila Byrne has been busy visiting new families who's children have started in our school.
The secondary school enrolments for our boys in 6th Class have also gone into the various schools.
In the coming weeks we hope to launch an exciting Attendance Drive called the 12 days of Christmas. In the hope, that we will improve our attendance in for the month of December, so keep your eyes peeled.
